Five years ago when SKYBAR (a world famous summer venue) had reached the peak of its success
Chafic el Khazen had a vision; to build an epic and incomparable winter venue. He consulted his brother, famed architect and designer of SKYBAR Beirut, Sari el Khazen, and together they started drawing up what would become the future iconic structure, which is known today as, the “01NE”.

2013

Work on the external walls has begun. They will be decorated by international graffiti on the theme of the rebirth of Beirut.

2012

O1NE Beirut welcomes clubbers from November till May each year. The winter-time club boasts biggest club in the region, but with a capacity of some 1000 clubbers, big does not mean size-wise.

LIGHT & SOUND

The light and sound system that O1NE will enjoy has been in the works for some 2 years now. Engineers and experts that have created the Ministry of Sound in London's sound and light system, as well as the people behind the refurbishment of the historical 1778 Teatro alla Scala opera house in Milan, have been recruited to create O1NE's intensively-visual atmosphere.

TECHNOLOGIES

O1NE is planning to employ technologies never yet seen in a club, to create a new concept and type of clubbing and club atmosphere that will truly be unique, earning its title of "O1NE" in terms of uniqueness around the world. Technology and nightlife go hand-in-hand, and Sky Management wants to take that to the next level, with extra emphasis on the visual systems.

THE ARCHITECT

My next big hospitality project, also in collaboration with Sky Management, is O1NE. The club is oval shaped over four levels and is perfectly symmetrical. Sari al-Khazen
